The Building Bridges Project is a dynamic new nonprofit committed to cultivating civility and understanding across diverse opinions. Founded by Snohomish County Councilmembers Nate Nehring and Jared Mead and Community Volunteer Josh Estes, we focus on empowering individuals, particularly youth, with the skills to engage in empathetic communication and collaborative problem-solving. Through workshops, community service, and advocacy, we're creating a foundation for a society that values constructive discourse. Join us in building a future where every conversation is a step toward mutual respect and shared progress.

To empower communities by fostering a culture of respect, understanding, and constructive dialogue across diverse viewpoints. The Building Bridges initiative is dedicated to bridging the gaps of political and ideological divides through education, community engagement, and advocacy, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued.
Our vision is a society where differences in opinion and diversity of thought enrich our collective experience, fostering opportunities for growth and deeper understanding. We see a future where communities are bound not by unanimous agreement but by shared respect and a commitment to engage in civil discourse.
